Serving approximately ten thousand people of ethnically diverse backgrounds the local mosque, Markaz Ul-Islam holds regular services and programs for the Fort McMurray Muslim community.

The Fort McMurray Sikh Society creates awareness of Sikhism,  promotes understanding of gurbani and religious awareness, and provides services to the community.

RACIDE is an advisory committee to the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo that develops policies, recommends strategies, and promotes programs that address inclusion, diversity, and equality in the RMWB.

About CRI

The Collaboration for Religious Inclusion (CRI) brings together like-minded organizations located in the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo to promote unity through religious inclusion & understanding. The group aims to engage and educate the public through workshops, forums, media, and collaborative initiatives.

Part of the United Church of Canada, the Fort McMurray First United Church seeks to be a welcoming presence in a community where so many people come from far away and are putting down roots and looking for connection.

The MGA mission is to know God and make Him known to our community and the world by representing Christ's interests in humanity- spirituality, mentally, emotionally, and physically.

The Multicultural Association of Wood Buffalo was established in 1985 to support cultural groups and newcomers through programs and events and to foster cross-cultural awareness and understanding.
